Illustration work for Leeds Playhouse/HOME Manchester’s joint production of rock musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch, directed by Jamie Fletcher. I worked in collaboration with video designer Daniel Denton to create the visual language and assets for an animated sequence that was project onstage during the song “Origin of Love”, which is a retelling of Aristophane’s creation myth story that appears in Plato’s symposium. The story imagines a time when there were three sexes, each formed of two humans joined together.
